Nikah Ceremony (Islam wedding in the mosque) was held in the Islamic Cultural Center of Kyiv.
For the first time, the relationship between Jamala and Seit-Bekir became known in September 2016, when she appeared at the Manhattan Short Film Festival together with a handsome young man.
Jamala's husband Seit-Bekir Suleymanov has recently graduated from the Physics and Mathematics Department of Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko. He is an activist of the Crimean Tatar community,and participates in social and political projects to solve problems of the Crimean Tatar youth, he is fond of playing football.
Earlier, QHA reported that the singer also became the absolute triumphant of the YUNA award, having won in three nominations: "Best solo artist", "Best song" ("1944") and "Best duet" (duet with DakhaBraha band, the song "Lured").March 19, Jamala won in the category "Pride of the country - 2016" according to the version of the VIVA magazine.
