On August 4, a man suspected of having links with the ISIL terrorist organization was seized at the Lviv International Airport, reported the State Border Service.
The man was detained by the SBU and the State Border Service during a passport control.
It is reported that the suspect is a Tajik who came from the Turkish city of Istanbul to Ukraine. According to the preliminary information provided by the SBU, the passenger is likely to be a member of the ISIL international terrorist organization and is on the wanted list in Tajikistan, reported the State Border Service.
The law enforcement officers carried out background checks. The detainee was denied entry to the territory of Ukraine and sent back.
