A Ukrainian journalist Yuri Makarov humorously commented on the empty beaches in Russia- occupied Crimea.

- Not that I'm gloating. But something sort of. I came across an amazing website  that streams live different cities of Crimea. This is a screenshot taken today from 12.30 a.m. till 12.35 a.m. Alushta, Evpatoria, Koktebel and Kerch. Why have I saved it? I do not know. After all I am gloating, Makarov wrote on Facebook.

The journalist’s post immediately triggered an active discussion among the social network users.

- And this is Crimea I am dreaming about. Not because it is Russian, but because it is deserted, a reader commented on the post.

- They used to say that the season is feeding entire Crimea. This is the third season without tourists, so what are they eating? I am not talking about sanctions and blockade, commented another Facebook user.

Russia occupied Crimea in 2014. The Ukrainian Parliament announced February, 20 2014 the official start date of the annexation of Crimea.
