One of the first tasks completed was the creation of the Strategy for Public Diplomacy of the Crimean Tatars, aimed at the promotion of the Crimean Tatar issues at the international level and the consolidation of the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar communities.

The document of 6-7 pages is divided into two parts, one of which is made public, and the other is kept secret for security reasons.

“Special focus groups were created to develop the document. It was a joint work with the diplomats, the public administration, public organizations and activists, as well as with the media” said Gayana Yuksel.

She stressed that the document is ready and will be sent to all members of the Executive Committee.

Moreover, the calendar featuring activities of the Crimean Tatars in Ukraine and in the world in 2017 has been developed.

In addition, one of the already completed tasks was the launch of the Crimean Tatar children site QirimJr, where computer games are presented in the Crimean Tatar language, which will allow children of preschool and school age to have fun and learn.

The authors of the initiative are the Crimean Tatars living in Ukraine, Crimea, and Canada.

The creators of the site wanted to bring together the Crimean Tatar children in all countries on a common playground, Gayana Yuksel said.

September 1, on the Day of Knowledge, the site was already running.
