KYIV (QHA) -

Lawyer Nikolai Polozov has held in Kyiv a number of meetings, including those related to the case of Ahtem Chiygoz, Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people.

He said that he could make up for evidence of the defense in this case, having received the testimony of witnesses in Kyiv.

“I have accomplished the tasks set out. I won’t go on, because I will then submit the evidence to the court, and I don’t want the opponents to be able to prepare for response. This is not my last trip to Kyiv, we will continue to work,” said Nikolai Polozov.

Nikolai Polozov said earlier that he would go to Kyiv to gather evidence in the case of Ahtem Chiygoz.

As QHA reported earlier, the FSB plans to open a criminal case against the lawyer of the Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ahtem Chiygoz in Crimea.

Just a reminder: Russian lawyer Nikolai Polozov advocates Ahtem Chiygoz, the Deputy Chairman of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis, being accused by the occupation authorities of organizing a rally outside the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on February 26, 2014.
