The Ukrainian filmmaker, political prisoner Oleg Sentsov, who was in the colony of Yakutsk, could be transferred to a strict-security prison in the city of Irkutsk, Russian human rights activist and journalist Zoya Svetova informed.
According to her, this is preliminary information.
"Oleg Sentsov was probably transferred from Yakutsk to the Irkutsk colony of strict regime," she said.
Earlier, members of the group Pussy Riot held in Yakutsk an action in support of the filmmaker Sentsov. They hung a banner and lit colored smoke flares.
Reference: in August 2015, a court in the Russian Federation found Oleg Sentsov and Aleksandr Kolchenka guilty of allegedly creating a "terrorist organization" in the Crimea, as well as committing two terrorist attacks, plotting another one, and also in an attempt to acquire explosives and illegal storage of weapons.
Sentsov was sentenced to 20 years in prison, Kolchenko - to 10 years in prison.
