Holy Ramadan begins in Crimea

AQMESCİT/SIMFEROPOL (QHA) - Today all Moslems of Crimea celebrate the beginning of the Holy month Ramadan, the press service of the Religious Administration of Moslems of Crimea informs.
The Moslems are forbidden to eat, drink, smoke, and have sex on natural day. Only expectant and nursing mothers, sick and aged people, small children are exempted from the fast.
“Ramadan gives the opportunity to every Moslem to reconsider own life and to change it for service of the Almighty Allah”, - the message of the Mufti of the Moslems of Crimea hajji Emirali Abla reads.
Note: the Moslems consist 15% of the whole population in Crimea. Basically, it is the Crimean Tatars.
