Student construction teams of six Russian universities have begun works on construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait and its road junction, according to News of Crimea.
“Some 67 students, living in a shift camp in Taman area, are involved in the works directly on the construction site of the bridge in Crimea. Another 20 members of the construction teams are building the road access to the bridge to Crimea on the side of the Krasnodar region,” Crimean Bridge Information Centre reports.
Leonid Ryzhenkin, Director of Stroygazmontazh LLC, added that the “students, of course, are not involved in complex and dangerous works on the construction sites of the bridge." Reportedly, the students’ practical training period might last for two months, until August 31.
