The member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, the Director of the "Crimean News" Qirim Haber Ajansi (QHA) news agency Gayana Yuksel announced the launch of a new "Hayat" radio in test mode, speaking at the ninth meeting of the Executive Committee of the Crimean Tatar World Congress, which is held in Kyiv on July 29, QHA correspondent reports.

“The radio is broadcasting now in test mode in the Kakhovka district of Kherson region, which is located near Crimea. The broadcast to Chongar as well as to the northern regions of the Crimea is planned" she said.

The Director of the news agency noted that the main aim of the new radio launching is to provide the residents of these areas with Crimean Tatar the Ukrainian content.

Earlier, on July 28, 2016, the QHA news agency won the radio frequency on the area, located near the occupied Crimean peninsula, in competition organized by the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council of Ukraine.
