As of April, 1 to May, 31 fishing in all inland waters of commercial importance is banned in Crimea, reported the press service of the State Committee for Fisheries.

The ban has been passed in accordance with paragraph 47 of Fisheries Regulations for the Azov-Black Sea basin fisheries, approved by order of the Ministry of Agriculture # 293 as of 01.08.2013.

In addition, as of April, 1 to July, 15 it is prohibited to catch freshwater crayfish in the Crimean water bodies of commercial importance, and from November, 15 to March, 31 - to engage in underwater hunting. For the entire 2016 the agency has introduced a ban on barbel and trout fishing in the Crimean waters.
