Press-service of the State Unitary transport Enterprise "Sevelektroavtotrans" announced a rise in the trolleybus fare. On February 1, fare card for school children will cost 210 rubles, for students – 420. New civil price of fare card will be 540 rubles and 600 rubles for organizations.
The rise in trolleybus fare in the occupied Sevastopol was announced in October 2016, and explained with a lag behind the Russian tariffs and the need to repay for the purchased vehicles.
Many Sevastopol residents reacted negatively to the message in social networks. For example, one of the local residents said that with the indicated fare costs she will not be able to save:
“I travel to work by trolleybus and by shuttle bus for 17 rubles, it’s very expensive. Usually I buy travel cards to save at least a little. Now, apparently, one can forget about the savings.”
