Yesterday, June 30 the historical and architectural complex "Tekie dervishes" in the city of Evpatoria launched two exhibitions - "The Way of Ebru" and "Mystery ornament", reported the Public Relations Department and the media "Yalta city administration."
Lily Abdureshitova showed the art of "Ebru" - painting on the water and the secrets of this ancient art.
- Classic ebru - two tulips tilting to each other. They resemble two dervishes talking with each other, said the artist.
The exhibition is dedicated to the holy month of Ramadan.
Moreover, those present at "Tekie dervishes" can also visit the exhibition of golden embroidery. "The sacrament ornament" tells about the original and traditional art widgets of the Crimean Tatar embroidery made in different techniques.
- The Crimean Tatar art is a rich but a little-studied topic. In the museum we will reveal the folk art secrets, which are very important to be maintained and passed on from generation to generation, said the arrangers of the exhibitions.
The exhibitions will run daily throughout July from 10.00 a.m. till 7 p.m.
