The seizure of Ukrainian companies and the introduction of foreign currency by the terrorists leaders in the occupied territories of the East of Ukraine are legally void and are a disregard for the peace agreements reached, Ukrinform reports, citing the official representative of the European Commission Maja Kocijancic
“The so-called administrative measures, in particular, the reported seizure of companies in Donetsk or the introduction of a currency other than the Ukrainian Hryvnia in Luhansk, do not meet the Minsk agreements, are legally invalid and lead only to increased tension,” the diplomat said.
She noted that actions of this kind lead residents of Ukraine in the uncontrolled territories to isolation.
Maja Kocijancic also claims that the Russian recognition of the "DPR" and "LPR" documents under the decree of President Putin also does not correspond to the spirit of the Minsk accords.
Earlier QHA reported, that on the night of March 1, pro-Russian terrorists announced the introduction of their own "administrations" at Ukrainian enterprises in the ORDLO. Militants have notified that from now on "taxes from these enterprises will go into the budget of the republics", that is, the illegal "DPR" and "LPR".
The Head of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Pavel Petrenko, promised that Ukraine would include episodes of the so-called "nationalization" of Ukrainian enterprises in ORDLO by pro-Russian terrorist groups in the international suits on Russia's aggression.
