Dutch explained reasons for voting against Ukraine

The network has showed the results of a survey of the Dutch asking whether they would vote "for" or "against" the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.

According to polls, 59% of the Dutch, who oppose Ukrainian Association with the EU, motivate their choice by a high level of corruption in Ukraine, according to "European truth".

34% of the respondents say the second "against" argument is unwillingness to see Ukraine as a EU member.

Also, 31% of respondents who do not like the idea of the Agreement say they do not share European values and find it unprofitable for the Dutch economy.

At the same time, 49% of those supporting the Association say the document will facilitate trade between Ukraine and the Netherlands.

Another 41% of respondents find the Agreement beneficial for the Netherlands economy, while 33% believe that the Association with the EU will make Ukraine stronger in resisting Russian aggression.

Today, April 6, the Netherlands are to hold a referendum on signing the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.
