LENINO / YEDI QUYU (QHA) -

At about 7 o'clock in the morning, 10-12 enforcement officers in camouflage uniform and masks, with badges reading "Police of Russia" burst into the house of Nadir Mambetshayev, resident of the Yedi Quyu (Lenino) village. After the search they drove Mambetshayev to the local police station, took fingerprints and interrogated.

Like in several previous cases, the security forces explained their actions with the search for the missing person from Simferopol Enver Memetov, according to Mambetshayev, whose video commentary was published by the Crimean lawyer Edem Sememlyaev. He also said that the officers had confiscated Flaubert's revolver, acquired before the annexation of the Crimea.

Crimean lawyer Edem Semedlyaev in the commentary to Krym. Realii publication said that the search in the house of Nadir Mambetshayev was conducted on a contrived criminal case.

"We are outraged by the fact that within the framework of one criminal case, namely in the disappearance of Memetov in 2016, we already know exactly about three searches where I was present. According to unofficial information, there were about 10 searches. And they are only those we know about. [Russian] law enforcers use this practice. In 2014, dozens of searches were held over the loss of some motorcycle. That is, some fictitious criminal or convenient case, and Crimean Tatars are massively searched”, Semedlyaev explained.

The leadership of the Kremlin-controlled security agencies of the annexed Crimea has not yet commented on the reasons for the search.

Human rights defenders regularly report on violations of human rights in the Crimea on international platforms.
The so-called "Hizb ut-Tahrir" has become a "hallmark" of the FSB struggle against dissenting Muslims.

Russian security forces break into houses and  carry out massive illegal searches and detentions under the pretext of checking the suspicions in terrorism and calling their repressive actions a fight against extremism.
