Today, Dec 7, the Armenian city court has sentenced a Crimean Tatar activist Eden Osmanov, a defendant in the "case of May 3", to one year probation, reported the first Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Nariman Dzhelyal.

- The prosecutor requested two year arrest, but the court decided to give a year of probation, Dzhelyal wrote on his FB page.

According to him, Dec 9 a similar hearing is to be held in Tahir Smedlyaev case.
