The Crimean Tatar Muslim community of Lviv together with the Spiritual Council of Muslims of Crimea (SCMC) solemnly opened the cultural center, the Mufti of Crimea Ayder Rustemov reports on Facebook.

Representatives of the local community and the executive power, Lviv Muslim community, as well as the Mufti of the Spiritual Council of Muslims of Crimea and Ulema Council attended the event. After the traditional opening reading of Quran the visitors shared their ideas on the work of the center.

According to the Mufti, the institution will serve a platform for development of the local Muslim community, promoting the interfaith dialogue, and growth of civic engagement.

The Crimean Tatars cultural center is opened in the center of Lviv. The institution will have prayer halls, a classroom and a library. The center opens its doors to representatives of the local Muslim community as well as Lviv residents and guests.
