NOVOALEKSEEVKA (QHA) -

The campaign of the Crimean Tatars, dedicated to the first anniversary of the Civil blockade of the annexed Crimea, will be held at the administrative border with the annexed Crimea.

According to a QHA correspondent, the activists are planning to hold an automobile rally from the town of Novoalekseevka to "Chongar" checkpoint.

Right now the cars are lining up with Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar flags, reported a QHA correspondent.

Upon the arrival at the "Chongar" checkpoint the protesters, led by the Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, MP of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Refat Chubarov, will march to the Russian positions.

September 20, 2015 the Crimean Tatars began a not limited in time campaign to block the trucks carrying products and goods to the Crimea. The economic blockade was the first stage of resistance.

The Crimean blockade envisaged several stages of isolation: food, power and marine. The blockade of the Kerch ferry was to become the third phase. The protesters’ aim is to isolate the Crimea and then return it to Ukraine
