February, 22 the new patrol police took the oath on the Vasyl Stus Square in the city of Vinnitsa. The ceremony was attended by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Groisman and Khatia Dekanoidze, the Head of the National Police.
The Vinnytsia police recruited 255 people, including 33 women. The city will be patrolled by 28 crews.
The police in the city of Vinnitsa was headed by a Crimean Tatar Redvan Useinov, who previously was in charge of one of the police departments in Kiev. Vinnitsa has become the 14th city where a new patrol police started its work.
