Crimean Tatar Flag Day was marked all over the World on June 26.

Mass events took place in Crimea, cities of Ukraine, Turkey, Georgian and the United States.

The most massive festivities, that gathered thousands of Crimeans, were held on the outskirts of Crimean capital Simferopol, amid the authorities ban to conduct the event in the city center.

The Flag Day was also marked in Crimean city of Kerch. The event gathered about 200 activists, who laid Crimean Tatar flag, 16 meters in length.

Ukrainian cities, such as Kyiv, Zaporizhia, Melitopol, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Lviv, Kherson, Genichesk also held support actions to Crimean Tatars, among the events auto rally along Kyiv streets and laying of Crimean Tatar Flag at Sofiyivska square.

About 150 people gathered in Melitopol. Activist sang Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar national anthems. It was also planned to launch Crimean Tatar flags, still the rain wetted them, and helium balloons failed to lift wet Ukrainian banner.

Flashmob to support Crimean Tatars war arranged in western city of Lviv.

Same events were held outside Ukraine. Activist of Turkish city of Eskishehir-- city with the biggest Crimean Tatar diaspora-- arranged a march along the streets, hanging Crimean Tatar, Turkish, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan flags.

US students also marked Crimean Tatar Flag Day. Ex-press secretary of Mejlis Lilia Muslimova posted a photo on Facebook, with students holding Crimean Tatar flags on the photo.


Support actions were also held in Tbilisi.
