Ernest Seitosmanov, detained today by security forces after the search in his house, supported the families of Sevastopol political prisoners, according to the information provided by the public association Crimean Solidarity on Facebook.
“Local activists say told that Ernest Seitosmanov actively supported the families of Sevastopol political prisoners (Ruslan Zeytullayev, Nuri Primov, Ferat Sayfullaev, Rustem Vaitov),” the statement said.
The public association also noted that the detained Ernest and Enver Seitosmanov were single.
Previously, security officials searched Ernest Seitosmanov in 2015.
“Four Crimean Tatars (the Sevastopol group in the case of Hizb ut-Tahrir) were arrested in the winter of 2015 in Sevastopol (Crimea). The defendants did not admit their guilt and stated that the case was politically motivated, and their criminal prosecution was due to the fact that they were the Crimean Tatars.”
QHA reported that today, May 10, security forces in the occupied Crimea conducted searches in the homes of the brothers Ernest and Enver Seitosmanov near Sevastopol. The Crimean Tatars are cousins of Nuri Priumov, illegally convicted in the fictitious "case of Hizb ut-Tahrir". Ernest and Enver Seitosmanov were arrested.
