September 1, 2015. The first Crimean Tatar ATR TV channel celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Lenur Islyamov, the owner of TV channel, has extended his congratulations to all the staff and viewers, who contributed significantly to development of ATR TV channel.

“I would like to extend my congratulations to Shevket Mametov, Refat Chubarov, the ‘fathers’ of TV channel, and all members of our national movement who contributed to its establishment.

I would like to send my greetings to leaders of Crimean Tatar Diaspora, who always supported us.

I would like to congratulate all businessmen, who not being afraid of SBU threats advertised with us and stood by us.

I would like to send my greetings to all our viewers, I’d better to say our brothers and sisters, who watch ATR TV channel without switching to other channels. We feel the ‘beating of your hearts’.

And of course, I would like to congratulate all our young team of spirit, active and like-minded people. I am proud to be with you. Happy Birthday to ATR TV channel,” Lenur Islyamov posted on his Facebook.

Just a reminder: the Crimean Tatar ATR TV channel, Lyale TV channel, Meydan radio, Avdet newspaper and QHA news agency went off air on April 1, 2015. The Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) had not re-registered these media outlets under various excuses and documents submitted for re-registration were ones and again returned to ATR TV channel.

The first Crimean Tatar ATR TV channel began broadcasting from Kyiv around 8.30 p.m. on June 17, 2015. The children’s Crimean Tatar TV channel Lyale resumed broadcasting as well.

Crimean viewers can watch ATR TV channel only by satellite.
