By the end of the year a newly-elected Russian State Duma plans to pass the bill "On Amendments to Article 16 of the Federal Law" On state regulation of production and turnover of ethyl alcohol, alcohol and alcohol-containing products and of consumption restrictions (drinking) alcohol products". Under the bill the Crimean sanatoriums will be permitted to be treat patients with wine, reported Kryminform citing Alexey Chernyak as saying at a meeting of the so-called Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea in sanatorium-resort complex and tourism.
So far, the State Duma has considered the bill in two readings. I think that the new composition of the Duma, including our Crimean deputies, will support it, the amendments will be introduced by the end of the year, and our resorts will receive a possibility to treat patients with wine, said Chernyak.
The idea to amend the law of the Russian Federation and to allow wine consumption in sanatoria and health resorts has been put forward by the "Head" of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov.
After the annexation of the Crimea the price of alcoholic beverages on the peninsula has risen sharply. Therefore some locals switched to alcohol-containing lotion "Boayaryshnik".
In March 2016 the self-proclaimed head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov proposed to impose a ban on the free sale of cosmetic lotion " Boayaryshnik " in the trade facilities on the peninsula, but the faile dto get the result expected.
