Crimean needy families were given packages of foodstuff.

The campaign was organized by Crimean Tatar Association for Culture and Mutual Assistance in Ankara (Dernek) and Religious Administration of Muslims of Crimea.

“It is a good tradition, when Crimean Tatar diaspora in Turkey, headed by Ankara dernek [Crimean Tatar Association for Culture and Mutual Assistance,-ed.] initiates the campaign. It is a great support for Crimean Tatar families”- deputy mufti of Crimea Esadullah Bairov said.

 The packages that consist of 30 types of food were given to Crimean local imams, who will give them to the needy.

200 packages of food were packed and given today, July 7, the campaign goes on.

The campaign is arranged annually in the beginning of holy month of Ramadan.
