Crimean Muslims celebrating Kurban Bayram

Simferopol (QHA) - Muslims all over Crimea celebrate the holy holiday Kurban Bayram (Eid al- Adha). Festive prayers were held in all mosques of Crimea. Due to the absence of the cathedral mosque in the capital of Crimea Simferopol, its residents held prayer in the sports hall of the Palace of culture of trade unions. Prayer service was held by Mufti of Muslims of Crimea Emirali Ablaev . Sacrificial ceremonies are held in all parts of the Crimean peninsula. They are being conducted not only by Crimean Tatars, but various organizations from Turkey, Holland and Germany as well. According to the deputy chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea Ayder Ismailov, during the three days of holiday in Crimea, more than 4 thousand animals will be sacrificed. This year, the Turkish Religious Foundation held holiday events in 80 countries. In Crimea, its representatives have sacrificed more than 70 animals. The meat of the sacrificed animals was given out to the needy. Also, in the framework of Kurban bayram celebration, various competitions, sport events and concerts are being held in Crimea.
