SIMFEROPOL / AQMESCIT (QHA) -

The coordinator of the "Crimean solidarity" association Dilyaver Memetov stated that the Crimean Muftiate cooperates with the invaders, according to the message on his Facebook page.

Memetov noted that the representatives of the Crimean Muftiate, Aider Ismailov and Emirali Ablaev, advised his father Remzi Memetov, who is persecuted by the Russian authorities in the so-called "Hizb ut-Tahrir case", to refuse the services of a lawyer and start cooperating with the investigation.

“Of course, we did not do this, due to the lack of trust. However, today we see that after winning the confidence, they again try to play dirty tricks, not fearing the Almighty Allah! How disgusting their affairs are!” Dilyaver Memetov wrote.

He noted that the talk about betrayal of the Crimean Muftiate against Muslims is increasing in the occupied Crimea.

Reportedly, according to the decision of the "court", Remzi Memetov, Zevri Abseitov, Rustem Abiltarov and Enver Mamutov will stay in custody until November 12, 2017.

Reference: on May 12, 2016 in Bakhchysarai, Russian security forces conducted a series of searches in Muslim homes, as well as in a local cafe. As a result, four Bakhchysarai residents were detained and accused of involvement in the organization "Hizb ut-Tahrir", recognized as terrorist in Russia. Among the detained were Zevri Abseitov, Remzi Memetov, Rustem Abiltarov and Enver Mamutov.

Since January 13, 2017, the Russian Supreme Court has ruled to add the article 278 of the Russian Criminal Code "Forcible seizure of power or forcible retention of power" to the charges of terrorism in the so-called "Hizb ut-Tahrir case".

The first charged with the "forcible seizure of power" were the persons involved in the Yalta "Hizb ut-Tahrir case", namely Enver Bekirov, Emir-Usein Kuku, Vadim Siruk and Muslim Aliyev.

The so-called case of Hizb ut-Tahrir has became a “hallmark” of the FSB struggle against dissident Muslims in the Crimea. Under the pretext of suspicions in terrorism, calling their repressive actions a fight against extremism, Russian security forces break into homes, carry out massive illegal searches and detentions.
