MOSCOW (QHA) -

Director of the Public Monitoring Centre for Ecology ONF Dmitry Mironov called on residents of the Russian-occupied Crimea to personally mark the biggest uncollected waste sites and environmental violations on a specially created "ecological map of Russia."

Thus, Russian official responded to the statement by Russian President Putin on the urgent need to improve the ecological situation in the country and eliminate the large landfills.

Notably, the inhabitants of the occupied Sevastopol have been complaining about rubbish and dirt in residential areas for a year, publishing photos of illegal landfills on social network. The self-proclaimed authorities report that for reasons of economy only 50% of waste is collected under the agreements with the local communal services.
