Enterprises in the territory of Crimea will now have to be limited to a smaller amount of gas than before, the "deputy" of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Mikhail Sheremet informed.
Earlier, the self-proclaimed government of Crimea had developed a schedule of transition to backup fuels and limit the gas flow to the enterprises in the case of abnormal cold weather and emergency situations in the transmission system.
“Schedule were applied to the plant "Titan" , the Crimean Soda Plant, KrymCHP. Peak loads occurred when schedule to restrict the supply of gas was applied,” Sheremet said.
Crimean residents were urged to give up home heating using any heating equipment to save energy.
