Doctors working at the Sevastopol Infectious Diseases Hospital are filing a complaint to the occupation "Prosecutor's Office" against low salaries and excessive burden on the medical staff, reports the Crimean Medical Information Centre.

The Hospital staff says that due to a serious shortage of healthcare workers they have to work long hours. Since last month, some doctors have worked one and a half or even two full rates. The hospital management had promised to pay them in accordance with the Labour Code.

In fact, it turned out that every overtime attendance is paid at the rate of 300 rubles (about USD 4,5 ). Responding to the workers' claims the hospital management informed that there was no money because of the working plan failure.

Doctors are going to write an appeal to the "Prosecutor's Office", hoping that the verification will make the hospital administration fulfill its obligations.
