October 3, power outages were recorded in a number of areas of the annexed Crimea, according to the so-called Minister of Fuel and Energy Svetlana Borodulina, as cited by RIA "Novosti"
“There observed an unscheduled power limit of 120 megawatts, it occurred without warning. Supply via the power bridge to be restored in the near future,” she said.
Reportedly, supply interruptions are recorded in Yalta, Yevpatoria, Simferopol, Feodosia and Sevastopol due to limitation of power.
The energy utility "Sevastopolenergo" informed that the general limit of power consumption for the inhabitants of the region was reduced "due to an emergency situation in the high-voltage networks outside of the Crimean peninsula."
