A number of pension organizations sent a letter to Vladimir Putin, demanding the return of benefits for such category of pensioners, as "children of war," Znaj.ua information portal reports.
This category of beneficiaries did not exist in the Russian Federation. Hence, there are no additional benefits for those affected by World War II.
“I would like to hope that the legislative Sevastopol authorities will pay attention to the children of war and their social organization, and the law about the status of children of war will be adopted at the federal level,” says Academician Alexander Suprunovicha, a representative of the organization.
As QHA reported earlier, Vladimir Putin signed a law, according to which all the servicemen, who betrayed the oath to the Ukrainian people and sided with the invader, are now officially the Russian professional military personnel.
