Shops in the European Union sell the sparkling wine produced in the occupied Crimea, UNN reports.

Thus, in a shop in the route Brno - Vienna in the Czech Republic, three varieties of wine "Crimea" produced in the occupied peninsula, according to the label, has been found. The Champagne can be purchased for 7.99 Euros.

 

Ukrainian reporter has learned that a German company is a distributor of supplies. The information provided on the company’s web site does not hide the fact that the product is made from raw materials harvested in Sudak and Alushta, Crimea.

In 2014, the EU imposed a ban on the import of goods from Crimea in connection with the occupation of the peninsula. Later, the sanctions have been extended until mid-2017.
