Crimean blockade activists to patrol regions bordering Crimea

The activists of the Crimean civil blockade jointly with the police and border guards will patrol Genichesk, Kalanchatsky and Chaplynsky regions in Kherson region.

According to him, in order to carry out this task the activists aged 18 to 40 years previously underwent 10-day training courses. The day duties will be taken by 4 men who will stay at the checkpoint.

- Many of them were together with us at the blockade. Their main task will be to prevent possible smuggling and fight against corruption, said Islyamov. February 20, 2014 in Ukraine is considered the official date of the beginning of Russia’s annexation of Crimean.

The Crimean civil blockade, organized by leaders of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, has started on September 20, 2015.
