Crimea’s defenders awarded badge "For Service to Crimean Tatar people"

Two human rights defenders, Ayshe Seitmuratova and Petr Grigorenko, have been awarded the prestigious sign recognizing their struggle for the rights of the Crimean Tatar people.

The Crimean Tatar Community has awarded the Crimean human rights activists the badge "For Service to the Crimean Tatar people". The awards were given to a veteran of the Crimean Tatar national movement Ayshe Seitmuratova and the founder of the Ukrainian Helsinki Group, General Petr Grigorenko (posthumously).

Currently, Ayshe Seitmuratova is living in Crimea. Petr Grigorenko’s award was received by his family.
