Crimea engaged in official human trafficking
A contract on the supply of prisoners for the construction of the detention center in the annexed Crimea has been published on the Government procurement website.
Under the contract the supplier had to provide the "goods" for 0 rubles from May to December 2016. The document states that the human commodity is a "labor of those convicted, up to 60 people." In addition, the document also indicates only one supplier which is a penal colony №1 controlled by the FSIN (Federal Penitentiary Service) Department in the Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
House of journalist Abduvelieva searched in the Crimea
Armed security forces broke the door and stormed into the house of the journalist for the Internet portal Crimean Tatars Elmaz Abduvelieva at Str. Elevatornaya 1, the city of Simferopol. They started the search without any document or warrant explaining the reasons. According to the lawyer Jemil Temishev, who was present at the occurrence in Abduvelieva’s house, her journalistic activity was not the reason for the search.

SWAT broke into mosque in Simferopol to search
The armed security forces conducted a search in a mosque located in 7 Mokrousova Street in Simferopol.
All entrances were blocked. Throughout the day, the parishioners were not allowed to mosque for prayers. This particular mosque has been searched for the third time. Each previous time the occupants planted the literature banned in Russia into a mosque.
According to the Mufti of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Ukraine "Ummah" Said Ismagilov, this is just another disgraceful and cynical violation of the rights and freedoms of believers in the occupied Crimea.
