SIMFEROPOL/AQMESCIT (QHA) -

As of September 25, testing and inspection of equipment ensuring uninterrupted power supply to important public facilities and life-sustaining infrastructure has been going on in Crimea.

“Currently, we are testing diesel generators installed at public utility facilities. We are making sure that they don’t take too long to start, as well as run continuously and supply power of required voltage. Diesel generators in Sevastopol, which is also connected to the Crimean power grid, are being tested, too,” said Nadonyan.

Nadonyan went on to say that nationwide exercises simulating ways of tackling power outages are due to start in Crimea in October. He also said that the exercises would not interrupt power supply in Crimea.
