Crimea has been allocated an open quota for pilgrimage to the Muslim holy sites. From now on, all willing Crimean Muslims will be able to set off for Hajj.
The corresponding decision has been taken by the Federation Council during a workshop in preparation for the Hajj Season 2016, reported the press service of the Crimean Muftiyat.
- There are no limits on a number of Crimean Muslims willing to set off for Hajj. We have been assured that everyone who wants to visit the holy places will be able to do it, said Deputy Mufti of Muslims of Crimea Ayder Ismailov.
The pilgrimage tours for Crimean Muslims will be organized by a Hajj tour operator of the Russian Muftis Council "Muslim-Tour," which has signed a corresponding agreement.
Next visiting session of the Haj mission of Russia is due to be held in Crimea on June 2, 2016.
In 2015, the pilgrimage was carried out by 323 Crimean residents.
