On March 20, the Moscow City Court considered an appeal on the case of Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko, who was illegally detained in Russia, lawyer Mark Feigin reported on Facebook.

The lawyer noted that the judge dismissed the appeal of the defense of the Ukrainian journalist.

"Appeal against the term of Sushchenko's detention was dismissed by the Moscow City Court," he wrote.

Reportedly, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has no doubt that the journalist of "Ukrinform" Roman Sushchenko, illegally held in Russia, will return home after the so-called trial in Russia.

Earlier, Mark Feigin said that the journalist Roman Sushchenko and other Ukrainian citizens, who are kept in Russia for political reasons, will not be exchanged according to the list, but only on an individual basis.
