Court makes present to Crimean vice-premier for his birthday

AQMESCİT/SIMFEROPOL (QHA) - Tsentralnyi district court of Aqmescit has given the judgment for the civil action of the 1st Deputy Head of the Council of Ministries of the AR Crimea Pavlo Burlakov against the edition “Argumenty Nedeli – Krym” and the journalist Hanna Andriievska.
As the ground of this action was the publication about the residence registration of the vice-premier in one of the Crimean hostels “Hostel as shelter for the Crimean VIPs. The history of Pavlo Burlakov”.
The Judge Ilia Ishchenko made his decision, under of that defendants – the Argumenty Nedeli – Krym and the journalist Hanna Andriievska must remove the article “Hostel as shelter for the Crimean VIPs. The history of Pavlo Burlakov” from their website and pay 3 thousands hryvnias to the 1st vice premier as the moral damage and 573.50 hryvnias of the litigation costs, according to the website of the Argumenty Nedeli – Krym. Thus, the action is upheld partially.
The official considers the edition disseminated the confidential information about him. He demanded to put a communication with apologies to him at the same section “without the right to remove it for 3 months”. Burlakov also demanded to repair 20 thousands hryvnias as the moral damages.
It is notable that the court made the decision against the edition and journalist on the fiftieth jubilee of the Crimean vice-premier.
