Corban put under house arrest

The court obliged Korban to return the Ukrainian and traveling passports and wear an electronic bracelet.

The Pechersk District court in Kyiv has imposed a pre-trail restrain (house arrest) on Gennady Korban, leader of UKROP party, Larisa Sokol delivered the judgment. 

“The duration of house arrest and liabilities placed by the court should be limited to two months, until December 31, 2015 inclusively,” announced the Judge Larisa Sokol.

However, Oksana Tomchuk, the lawyer of Gennady Korban, claimed that the defense would appeal against this judgment. 

It was reported earlier that law enforcement officers detained Gennady Korban, leader of UKROP party, on October 31, 2015. He is suspected of creating a criminal group.
