KYIV (QHA) -

The Crimean Tatar accused in far-fetched "Hizb ut-Tahrir" case Uzeir Abdullayev, must be urgently hospitalized, the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov informed on his Facebook page.

Chubarov believes that the transfer of Abdullayev to the medical unit of the remand center is "nothing more than an imitation of treatment."

“Uzeir must be urgently hospitalized in the city hospital. And this should be done today, because weekends and holidays are ahead,” he said.

He urged lawyers on the annexed peninsula to take measures to force the "authorities" to hospitalize the activist.

"We call on lawyers to do everything possible today in the Crimea to force the occupation authorities to hospitalize Uzeir," he wrote.

The Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people noted that the state of health of Uzeir Abdullayev is "extremely critical".

“Here is all together - an aggravation of a diabetes, wrong treatment in the previous weeks and the wounds caused by it and tumors on a leg,” Chubarov emphasized.

Earlier Refat Chubarov said that the threat of death of Uzeir Abdullayev passed.

QHA reported that Uzeir Abdullayev was placed in the sanitary part of Simferopol remand center. Such a decision was made after members of the Public Monitoring Commission of the Crimea at the request of Abdullayev’s wife visited him in the remand center.

Dilyara Abdullayeva, the mother of the political prisoner, reported that her son had sepsis.
According to her, Uzeir Abdullayev had a high fever, which did not get off, and his left leg is swollen.
