Simferopol (QHA) - Head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov believes that the attack on the car of the People’s Deputy Mustafa Jemilev as well as the recent arson mosque attacks in Crimea are the links of one chain. According to him, these actions are aimed at destabilizing public peace in Crimea. Refat Chubarov said this in an interview to Chubarov noted that up till now none of the high-profile crimes committed against Crimean Tatars and Muslim shrines has been uncovered. “None of these crimes has been uncovered. Neither customers nor performers of the crimes have been identified. This suggests that they are all links of one chain”, said head of Mejlis. He also noted that such crimes aim to incite interethnic and religious hatred on the peninsula. “The mosque attacks and the attack on the car of the People’s Deputy allow me to conclude that they are all connected by a single aim, - provocation”, he said. Chubarov added that the attack on Mustafa Jemilev’s car, same as other provocative crimes is unlikely to be disclosed. “It is difficult to hope that this crime will be uncovered,” he noted. As reported, in Simferopol, unidentified people smashed the windshield of the car of People’s Deputy of Ukraine Mustafa Jemilev. The incident occurred at night of November 10, at the parking lot near the office of Mustafa Jemilev. Jemilev himself was in his office at that time.
