The Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Akhtem Chyigoz during his visit to Lviv, came to the school No. 2, where he met with a schoolboy who wrote a support letter to him 2 years ago when Chyigoz was in custody.

In September 2016, the 14-year-old Lviv resident Bogdan Fenechok wrote a letter to the political prisoner Akhtem Chyigoz who was then in the Simferopol detention center. The letter began with the words "Dear friend ...", Bogdan wished Chiygoz good health and invited him to Lviv.

After 2 years, Akhtem Chiygoz visited the city and found Bogdan. Chiygoz presented the schoolchild with a smart-phone and invited him to visit the liberated Crimea in the future.

According to Chiygoz, such letters give people, languishing in prisons, strength of spirit and faith. Yuri Yatsenko, also a former political prisoner of the Kremlin, came to the Lviv school along with Chiygoz.

March 19, in Lviv the city Mayor Andrii Sadovyi held a meeting with the Deputy Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Akhtem Chiygoz. Lviv Mayor noted that Chiygoz showed his love for the country not with words, but with deeds.
