A ship has docked in Odesa with the gift of the Canadian government – a consignment of winter uniforms for Ukraine army in Donbas, Odesa port website reported Jan. 10.

Another vessel with more clothes for the military is to come to Odesa about Jan. 20.

According to Phoenix Wings NGO coordinator Yuri Byriukov, the Canadian government has sent 54 containers with 67,000 winter boots, 27,000 winter jackets and trousers, UNIAN reports.

The number of people killed in the east of Ukraine has reached 4,808 people since April 2014, the report published on Sunday by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reads.
