United Kingdom blocked all the accounts of Russian propaganda channel Russia Today. This was reported on Twitter by chief editor of the International Russia Today news agency and RT TV channel Margarita Simonyan.
“Our accounts in the UK have been closed. All the accounts. The decision is not subject to revision. Long live freedom of speech!” Simonyan tweeted.
It was reported earlier that the British media regulator Ofcom has launched an investigation into the Russian TV channel Russia Today reporting that the British energy company Cuadrilla empties toxic waste off the coast of Africa, which is false information.
In June 2016, the Argentine government announced the termination of the broadcast of the Russia Today propaganda TV channel, which was launched in October, 2014.
