Former employees of the Ukrainian Security Service, the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, who now live in the occupied Crimea, will receive a one-time payment of 5 thousand rubles (about 86,08 UDS).
The Ministry of Defense of Russia prepared a draft of this decree on behalf of President Vladimir Putin.
Reportedly, payment will be granted to Ukrainian ex-security officials who lived in the Crimea at the time of the occupation and remained on the peninsula.
The Russian government hopes to receive the funds next year.
Reference. As of the end of September 2017, the cost of a minimum food basket in the occupied Crimea was 3776.34 rubles (about 65.02 USD) per person.
In 2017, tariffs for utilities in the occupied Crimea increased by 11%.
