A man suspected of having plotted the murder-for-hire against Interior Minister Arsen Avakov is said to flee to the Russian Federation, Yuri Tandit, Advisor to the Chairman of the Security Service, told Inter TV Channel.

- I want to say the suspect is supposed to be in the region of Belgorod, Russia. We assume the negotiations to have been conducted with Russian residents’ participation, said Tandit.

It ought to be reminded, Sept. 11 the Security Service of Ukraine jointly with the Chief Military Prosecutor's Office precluded from murder of Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, as well as other attempted assassinations prepared in the cities of Kiev and Kharkov. Andrew Yangolenko, Sloboda battalion commander, has been detained as suspect of assassinations organization. As a restraint, the Kramatorsk City Court has rendered a decision to keep him in Artemivsk pretrial custody for 60 days. The defense said it has started preparing an appeal.
