SIMFEROPOL/AQMESCIT (QHA) -

During the consideration of the defense’s appeals at a session of the "Supreme Court of Crimea" the arrested in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case Uzeyir Abdullayev claimed he had been tortured. According to a Facebook message of activist Osman Arifm, the prisoner said he was kicked and thrown to the floor in the car.

Later, Uzeyir Abdullayev’s wife posted on Facebook page of her arrested husband:

“Uzeyir Abdullayev was beaten and humiliated in prison. I’ve learned it in the court. When being transported to a questioning, he was handcuffed behind his back. Uzeyir was hit in the stomach and leg. They laid him face down on the floor of the car … Usually such "preventive measures" are carried out on the orders of the investigator (Gorbachev R.S.), and prison workers are just performers.
People!!! If you people stop this lawlessness!!!"

Earlier, Lawyer Emil Kurbedinov noted a humiliated treatment of his client Teymur Abdullayev, whom occupation authorities charged with organizing the Simferopol cell of "Hizb ut-Tahrir" organization prohibited on the territory of Russia and Crimea.

According to the lawyer, in order to make Abdullayev familiar with the decision on a psychiatric examination, he was brought with closed eyes and twisted arms behind his back, like sentenced to death in lifelong colony.
