Russia spends no less than 3.5 billion dollars a year on propaganda, wrote Dmitry Tymchuk, a leader of the News Resistance group wrote on his Facebook page.

- The US State Department said Russia spends USD 1.4 billion a year on propaganda, while according to the calculations by News Resistance group, no less than USD 3.5 billion a year. Our joint calculations are on the scheme, Dmitry Tymchuk wrote in the commentary to the published infographics.

Tymchuk said the News Resistance tried to analyze the whole spectrum of communicative impact used by Russian Federation.

- Our goal is to assess the overall picture of Russian information war waged under the occupation of the Donbas territories and Russian informational expansion in Europe, said the leader of the News Resistance group.
