The tense situation with power supply in Crimea can last until completing the construction of two stationary power plants in the cities of Simferopol and Sevastopol, reported the so-called Crimea’s Head Sergey Aksyonov a meeting of the interdepartmental emergency response personnel and municipal representatives as cited by Tass.

- Unless two power plants are built, the situation in Crimea will be tense, although I'm sure that the power supply from the mainland can really meet the needs of the population, said Aksenov.

The power plants are scheduled to be put in into operation in 2018.
